This is not your casual fluffy animal rpg. We're not all about cutesy animals or dreamy unicorns. Mark of the Wild is a dark fantasy taking place on a fictional world where the power of the Old Gods has made it's resting place. A portal discovered in the Black Sea by the Roman Navy has lured them into a strange new world where they have erected their culture and established their reign, seeking new treasures, conquest, and even expansion.

Filled with ancient legends, mysteries, and dark lore, the world of Verusa awaits you, where the legends of the Old Gods exist, where their breath is as one with your own heartbeat, and where their power is yours to access when the need arises. -Where the men here are not what they seem, and home to an ancient civilization that could be deemed as a God through mortal eyes. Verusa is a world where the land's men and beasts - through the acts of corruption and imbalance, have become one.

• Establish Aspect-Specific plots to the characters that follow these Aspects;
• Plot Natural Disasters and catastrophies that will affect the geographical climate of Anteria;
• Have at least 20 fights with mortalities afflicted on site by the end of the season.
World Events
In the event that there is an important plot-related thread, it will be listed here so anyone and everyone can read up on it.
Active Scenarios

High Stakes: Not-Active High Stakes is a game dynamic that puts all characters within the site at risk. In most cases, this follows a natural catastrophe such as a disaster or human event, such as "Hunting Season". .

Open Season: Not-Active When Open Season is declared, human characters are authorized to hunt the specified species that will be stated in the Side Bar under 'Open Season'. Out-of-season hunting is declared as poaching, and will result in your human character paying a visit to the Aspect, quite possibly to their detriment...

Famine: Not Active There is a shortage of food in a given area and that characters are expected to seek out the location of prey. At the same time, characters are hindered on their abilities due to this shortage of food and will take a malnutrition debuff that will affect their abilities and their stats.

The time had come. With a steady blowing wind came a message. One of savage intent, one that cried out for blood, that cried for a message to be sent with a display of power. She knew full well what it would mean, but she also knew that if something wasn't done, they were going to find the tablets faster than they could do anything about it to prevent it.

As the Roman's stood, they were progressing without anything to fear, they were accustomed to having the others bend their knees to them, -all without a single sign of rebellion. They were accustomed to having their path cleared and unobstructed. It was time for that to change.

The wind that was blowing was a cry of rage, a tear of vermilion that went silent and unheard for the cries of lives lost since the rising of this great city of theirs. This was the heart of the Roman invasion, their grand accomplishment without hindrance, without obstruction. Unknown to them, it was also their tomb.

Reakhan had ordered that the Aspects were not to interfere with the Romans, but there were those that were beginning to question his right to lead them anyways. After all, the Aspects had been banished from death and therefore banished from the realm of Ejayah. They were going no where. There was a time when the Aspects were the most feared entities on the land, there was a time when they held among the hearts of the mortals the same respect as that of a deity. There was no reason why those times could not continue once more. It was time to earn the hearts of those that once followed them... to send a message that they were still here, watching out for them, protecting them and the land that they lived upon, the very same that which they called their home.

The times would change. Today's allies would become tomorrows enemies, the times would drift, Sjeaviah would be released... but not before the ones that were responsible for his release would pay for their crimes in blood and matter.

In the shadows she stood, her eyes glowing a furious orange as she stood poised to strike. From the distance, partially blurred from her depth of field were soldiers that stood at the gates, welcoming caravans of supplies from the harbor not too far from here. She would wait until the other Aspects arrived of course. She knew that just because she was banished from death that didn't necessarily mean that she couldn't be harmed. She could die, but in time her body would re-materialize and resume the very same state she found herself in just moments before her death.

There would be no plan, there would be no precise execution. The plan was to show them that they were here, that they were being watched, that they needed to keep themselves alert and fearful of their wrath returning. That they would think twice before coming out from their gates, to buy time for the tablets to be reacquired and hidden once more. Leviathen peered out at them with her eyes alight with furious intent, knowing full well that she was going to get it from Reakahn when he found out what it was that they were up to.

However, unlike the great Tiger, the jaguar was not afriad to allow the wind of vengeance to blow. She wasn't afraid to take a few lives to prevent a monster far more fearsome than the world has ever faced, - the most dangerous opponent that the Aspects had ever faced. Something had to be done, and if it meant breaking the code of the Aspects, than she would do it without an ounce of hesitation.

And when the silence drew about the tree-line, a steady wind began to blow, it was a cold wind, a wind marked with fear... it was a wind of vengeanse... of retribution and malice. @Vishadeas @Namaclease @Thorsoc @Eaysachi @Raekhan

Eaysachi loved the wind. How could he not, being able to not only wield it but to fly upon it with wings spread! The wind could angrily prophesy the fall of the Romans all it wanted, but it would not phase Eaysachi. It would only lift the white hawk up into the air and propel him to his destination.

Eaysachi had never liked how emotional the powerful Leviathen was. She often acted and spoke irrationally. After the meeting between all the Aspects, including Reakhan, Eaysachi had wanted nothing more to do with any of it. He had, initially, been willing to listen to Reakhan. After all, he had the best idea of what Ejayah wanted. But after seeing Leviathen rake her knife-sharp claws down his face, a fire within him was ignited. Eaysachi had never been aware of the raw hatred, jealousy, and... emotion he was capable of feeling. Most of the time, he felt melancholy or even sad. But never before had he felt such a seething need for wrongs to be righted. For sinners to pay for their crimes. For he who's out of line to be put back in his place.

And at that moment, he knew exactly who was out of place. He knew exactly whose blood would be spilled. A raucous screech split the air, as the large hawk swept down from the sky. He landed in a flurry of feathers and talons, gripping the branch. Turning his gold eyes over to the poised cat, he blinked at her solemnly and said,

"Vengeance comes on swift wings." There was an unrecognizable tone in his voice. "I am with you, sister." He told her earnestly. Which meant a great deal - to him, at least.

Eaysachi very well could have stayed tucked away from all this mess, could've stayed out of it as he'd been told. But such cowardice could never be forgiven, not by his sister Levi - or himself. So here he was, and he was ready.

His shoulders worked in conjunction with the sharp angles of his hip sway, and though his fur danced in the wind, it was no joyous occasion. He took one last step, his nose further than Leviathen's, but his right eye in perfect parallel. Like her, he too was enraged. His feelings were too shrouded for him to even attempt to decipher. So he did not try, and merely rode his usual wave of impulse and gut feelings. And now, the time for mercy and tolerance had faded. Now was the time for justice.

A low rumble sounded in his throat as he prepared the arcane for the fury he would soon unleash. The wind swiftened in response, dropping to single digit temperatures. His fur whipped right to left as the wind tried to rip it from his body.

He became aware of Eaysachi. He grinned, his maw stretching past his back teeth wickedly. "I am with you.", he echoed. His teeth poked out savagely as he spoke without grace. His ears flattened and his hips played in the wind, swaying with it, his muscles tensing and untensing throughout his body, ready to begin.

Her gaze was solid and militaristic, her ears were forward much like the great cat was on the hunt, blending in with the sahdows so that the only hint of her presence was that of her eyes, glinted with amber and hatred in all the same. She knew full well what this would mean to both the minds of men and that of the Aspects, she knew what this would mean for the land and the ancient spirit that she swore to protect and to serve. But something had to be done, no longer could they distribute justice behind the words of the Tiger, no longer could they do their job so long as Reakahn swore to earn Ejayah's trust.

The Aspects had been banished from the Realm of the Gods, and they had been banished from Death. Pain would be swift, but death would come quicker, and when it came it would only rematerialize their forms once more to provide more justice in the same.

"Vengeance comes on swift wings," The white hawk appeared before her and took his place on the branches just above her, "I am with you, sister." he declared as he spoke earnestly, he was serious. Something of which she had lost faith in the fact for the last few years. "It is time to send a message..." she said as she stood. The time for mercy and tolerance was long gone. Long had she hoped that they would be as understanding as the natives were, long had she hoped that they would leave the elements in peace and just keep to themselves, but the greed had been apparent, the tumbling into forces that they did not understand was more than obvious. If something wasn't done, than the world would fall, the potential of the Aspect's powers would be unleashed, the knowledge of the power of the old-gods would be known... and worlds beyond this one the greatest of all wars would wage across the land... and Sjaeviah's one dying wish would be granted... to see man kind exterminated across not only one world... but all of them.

The white wolf appeared before her as the wind threatened to rip it from his own body as she felt a warming gaze upon his presence, knowing that at least there were some of the Aspects that still looked up to her and supported her position. "I don't do this for vengeance... I do this for all of Anteria..." she stated firmly and without hesitation as she stood and began to walk towards the city as the clouds began to darken, her ebony dark coat beginning to cast a sapphire hue as she stepped out into the open, the rumbling of thunder drawing closer as the winds began to blow, the trees creaking as she looked over her shoulder.

Her gaze glanced towards the sky as the winds began to swirl the clouds above, before once more setting her gaze upon the city that stood between them and their ultimate goal. "There was a time when the Aspects were the most feared entities in the world... known for our power, and our savagry. That fear has subsided when we gave man strength... now is the time that we regain the respect that we once had." she spoke with a tone that ferocious and tenacious, expecting the others to do the same.

"There will be no doubt that once Reakahn gains insight as to what we plan to do, that he will try to stop us..." she said as she looked at the rest of them over her shoulder, "Know that what we do is for the sake of Anteria, for Ejayah, and for all those that live on this land, and not for our personal gratification. You know in your hearts -what it is that must be done. What we were chosen to do, and what we live to do." her eyes then turned to the gates of the city as a single crack of thunder sent an explosion overhead just as lightning lashed and light up the sky. Her powers had charged, and her eyes went from amber, to dark black, her form transforming into a vivid blur as she took the form of shadows.

Without a word she darted forward and towards the city, her body merely formless as it moved across the surface with a fluid and smooth gate, almost as though the pads of her feet never once touched the ground but merely flew across it in a smooth glide like that of a hawks. Her fangs glinted with a single light just as she managed to catch the attention of a pair of guards as they stood at their post in front of the gates, one of them stepping forward with his spear at the low-ready, the other remaining behind but watching as though to provide security for his companion.

"What the hell is tha-" Before the guard could even finish his sentence, she leaped on him, her form breaking off to form a second panther that leaped at the other guard as their screams filled the awkward silence and filled it with sounds of excruciating pain that couldn't even be explained with words alone.

When the other piece of herself merged with the main, she looked over her should at the other Aspects before making her way through the city, leaping off her hind legs and sending herself forward and through the gate which blew open and revealed the contents of the city before her. She waited for her brothers to form up along side her.

All around her woman and children looked upon her, gazed at her with wonder and curiosity. Soldiers grasped their weapons in preparation to defend their civilization, their little Roman influence, their grand achievement. She looked forward and in their eyes, summing up everything that they were worth. Her chest rose and feel with rapid succession as she drew in each breath before she lurched forward and rose her maw to the heaven's, a predatory roar ripping through the heavens and into the ears of each man, woman and child, her eyes alight with a sapphire flame that casted it's glow along the sides of her maw before she ran into the crowd -her claws clicking along each of the stone slabs before leaping in with claws at the ready. There would be no discrimination, for she knew that without a doubt, there would be no discrimination shown to them.

"Know that what we do is for the sake of Anteria, for Ejayah, and for all those that live on this land, and not for our personal gratification. You know in your hearts -what it is that must be done. What we were chosen to do, and what we live to do." Leviathen's words were heavy with ferocity; with a stubborn resoluteness that Eaysachi himself felt strongly as well. The wolf, Vishadeas, was there as well.

The dislike, perhaps even contempt, he once had for these two Aspects' ways was cast aside now. The time had come for Eaysachi to be new. Rebirth: he would find such a thing in the death of sinners. The hawk, as he flew above and just a bit behind the cat, looked different somehow than he had moons and even years ago. He seemed bigger, mightier; even his feathers looked sleeker and whiter. As if his spirit had been lying dormant, and perhaps it had; but certainly it was awakened on this night. All this time he had been hiding behind his sorrow and inner pain; he'd become an empty shell without Ejayah.

Only tonight had he realized that, although Ejayah was and always would be his love, he did not need her like he had once thought. And to the flaming depths of hell with Reakahn! He didn't need anything but the wind at his wings, and his two companions on either side of him. These two, the panther [jaguar/leopard/technicalities] and the wolf, the ones that he could see and touch and feel - they were the ones he needed tonight. And they were the only ones. In that moment, he felt a great deal of love and compassion for the two Aspects. It was them against the world, it seemed. They were in this together; let the rewards be worth the consequences.

Leviathen entered the city first, and Eaysachi followed closely behind. He, already, was white as could be, but there was an aura surrounding him that glowed white too. He appeared blurred, like a smudged painting or the sun when you stare directly at it. He was bright and shining, like a beacon. He was beautiful, but his intentions were not. The great, fearsome hawk hovered above his two companions as the people in the city gathered around the commotion. Confusion, anger, fear... these emotions swept through the crowd like wildfire. The soldiers could sense the impending doom. Would they fight back? Would they delay the inevitable?

Eaysachi's golden gaze turned dark with rage as he caught sight of the men collecting their weapons. Of course they would. As the women and children fell back, the soldiers came forth. Their fire, swords, spears, pitch forks, and shields all at the ready. And beneath him he could see their death - black as night with knives for claws - already upon them.

Enraged, Eaysachi's voice ripped through the air like Leviathen's claws through their flesh: "Dare you defy the wrath of the Aspects!?" And so be it; the Aspects' wrath would be upon them like a predator upon prey. Wings spread to their longest span, Eaysachi swept forward. Manipulating the air currents, he dropped several men to the ground with the wind alone. Their fire was dropped, and the flames hungrily sought out the nearest flammable things. Soon, the city would be engulfed in flames.

And Eaysachi wasn't sure if a single fiber of his being cared anymore. Staring into their ignorant and selfish faces as they tossed spears into the air at him... it extinguished any pity he had left for them. In moments, his huge white form was upon the soldiers again, using his talons and his beak to ravage their eyes and faces. He brutally attacked any soldiers that tried to stop Leviathen or Vishadeas, picked up the confused and lost children into the air and dropped them down again to hear their bones crack, literally scarred the mothers that tried to retrieve their lost children. No discrimination. It was a massacre, by definition. The Aspects very likely could kill every one of them. His feathers were stained by their blood. The cries of agony only fueled him.

Yet, he knew that if all of these people were killed - the message could not be received. After all, no one would be there to receive it. They couldn't kill them all... could they? The Aspects had to stop with the bloodshed somewhere... Eaysachi cast his eyes toward Leviathen, and then Vishadeas. He was a warrior. This was a war. He would stop fighting when the war was won, or else never stop fighting at all.

Leviathen entered first, beating down the gate and then walking through it. Symbolic in nature, violent in reality, as the splinters from it mortally wounded two men who now contemplated their maker as they bled out. She killed as necessary. Eayasachi was a ball of white death, here, there, no where except where blood spurted up and eyeballs dropped down from the sky.

Vishadeas had prepared the cold and ice. Man had dropped the fire. Eaysachi aired it, fostering it, feeding it. Oh, poetic justice. Vishadeas swallowed his ice but kept the temperatures low, letting the hawk fan the flames of what they had asked Sjaeviah for.

But coming here to simply slaughter was not protecting the land and would only foster hate. "Humans! You asked the Asepcts for strength, and we granted it! You asked Sjaeviah for fire, and he granted it! And yet here you are, pouring in like ants from your world to slaughter those already established for things that are not yours and crimes they never committed. They are like insects to you, tiny, unworthy, and insignificant. "

"We aspects recognize you do not heed the ways of the aspects, and therefore some of this is to be expected. But not all of it! You filthy, murderous, thieving, petty humans follow the darkness and perform evil. You are more savage than the 'savages' you kill in cold blood! Repent!"

"If any human wishes to lay down their arms, surrender to the forces of creation and fate, find your true purpose, and be made new and stronger, then simply come forwards and kneel before us, so we can shield you there. Your sins shall be absolved and your lives will not be forfeit.", it was just senseless slaughter without an opportunity for repentance.

<!-- PVP TABLE HERE -->

It had been a long and terrible Hell before Namaclease could get any rest and satisfaction for himself. The mighty golden lion strut around his territory like a determined guard dog to protect what mattered to him most. His brown eyes scoured the landscape of his savanna home ever hoping to find an enemy. His body itched with the need for a good fight. However, the more Namaclease searched the more he began to realize that today was not that day. Today was not the day to defend his pride, his homeland, his very namesake. Instead, it was a different day. Softly like the gentle touch of a lover came a message on the wind. As gentle as was the touch, the message was not so graceful. The message that was clutched in the grasp of the wind was a message of violence and anger. Namaclease knew this scent, and he knew who sent it; Leviathan. Realizing that he was being called, Namaclease took one look at his home for mere moments before bolting off in the direction the scent had came from. His back curved and arched with each outstretched paw to thrust him forward in a sprint faster and faster. Namaclease was one of the lions best known for his skill at stamina, speed, and strength. Thorsoc was one of his only rivals in a match of pure strength, however. While Thorsoc had the size and the power, Namaclease had the flexibility and the agility. It was a fight to be had at some point.

Namaclease traveled over the landscape as fast as his paws would take him until he would reach the others some hours later before the battle began. Slowing himself into a soft trot, and then to his ever charming stride, he walked up to the others and fell in line. His tail would flick over his back every now and again to vent his frustration at why he was being called here. Not that he had anything against being requested for a fight like this, just in his mind these battles were pointless since humans were so inadequate and primitive. It was almost like teaching a child who was lacking the intelligence to understand the world. "Leviathan, Vishadeas, Eaysachi." Namaclease greeted each one vocally with a deep rumble of a voice, but not with gaze. His focus was on the scent of the humans nearby and their selfishness and pride. As the cold breeze whipped about him, no doubt by Vishadeas' anger, his mane whipped about him gently making him look more surreal than he was. His bulk flexed under his skin as he readied his muscles and his claws dug deep into the earth. It was almost time.

Leviathan began her speech after everyone arrived. Thorsoc was still not here which was a disappointment, but it was good in the mind of Namaclease. It meant those that could not protect themselves had a watcher during this battle. They would be safe. Unless of course, Thorsoc came late like he usually did. Namaclease listened silently to Leviathan as his claws continued to dig into the dirt, allowing her energy to help his grow. When she mentioned Raekhan being angry, Namaclease scoffed. "Please. That boy needs some balls to lead and right now, he doesn't have any. This is a necessary thing and preventative maintenance." Namaclease said this silently to himself, but he wouldn't protest if he was overheard. After Leviathans' speech there was a moment of silence, and then an explosion. The battle had begun as all of them burst forward. Namaclease let out a giant roar to announce their coming. No one could roar like he could. All those that heard it ran for their lives. It was doubtful that this group of Romans would, but either way he would have his fun.

White pearly fangs were revealed under think lips with a wicked snarl as Namaclease burst forward, claws outstretched, aimed to grasp anything that landed in his paws first. Was it really the best idea to trade bloodshed for bloodshed to try and pass on a message? In his Namaclease's mind, no. This was not the right way. If it were to instill fear to control that was one thing. However, a follower would only follow a god that showed mercy, compassion, respect, and love to his or her followers. Rarely would they show violence unless they had to, and in the end they wouldn't end up killing their followers. It wouldn't teach them the lesson they needed to learn. Regardless, they were here now and the Romans sought after the tablets. It was a necessary thing to defend for they sought what they couldn't have. As the battle begun, Namaclease grabbed any Roman that dared to throw a spear at him. The attacking Romans would find their head in his mouth and with a solid crunch, they would fall to the ground lifeless. Anger influenced his attacks and the need to defend what was precious to him. A few unlucky Romans got to taste what it was like being bit in the torso with several inch long fangs going through their gut and limbs. With two shakes of his head, they bled to death in mere seconds and were cast off so the next victim could take their place.

In the end, what would this teach?

v
Despite what the others were lead to believe, Leviathen didn't come here to teach them the way of the Aspects, she knew well enough more than anyone that a soldier's heart was a determined and constant force that was often hard to deter from it's chosen fate. She knew more than well enough that these men, despite being but pawns lead by another and even greater pawn, that their lives meant nothing compared to the force that they were attempting to keep locked up and preserved. An entire civilization gave their lives to seal him away and if they didn't do anything about it, than their sacrifice would be in vein.

Her ways of communicating with the soldiers that squirmed around like ants were anything but a democratic site, she was swift, and she was violent, making quick work of them of them with claws and fangs alike. She didn't need to use her powers here, the lives lost and blood along the streets would be more than enough to send her message of retribution, of vengeance. Her eyes were bright, her form was dark as a moonless-night; the thunder and lightning dancing around her as it quaked the earth and shook the land as her predatory roars drained their courage and the color in their faces turned to a deep pale white.

Vishadeas tried to make them surrender, to see a new light, to come forth and lay down their arms and kneel in respect. And yet, for the few that were afraid, there seemed to be some that felt that they could challenge their strength, gain the courage to fight, advance with their weapons drawn and donning their armor that made them stick out like a sore thumb amungst the night skies, that reflected the fires and made it easier to place her claws. Their foot steps were heavy, the clanking of their armor was even louder, her vision was like that of a finely tuned sniper scope, her strikes were precise, she could see their weaknesses even when they felt that there wasn't any.

Namaclease rushed in from behind, merely following her at her ankles as she stopped and and glared at the fools, their spears forward and their shields planted to the ground. The lightening flashed in her eyes as she kept her neck low and her hind-quarters eyes, ready to pounce and tear their ranks to shreds.

In that instant, she felt what it was that her sons had felt just moments before they did. Surrounded in a circle, placed at the center, with no quarter to move about and flee. The animal part of her had instincts that which she could not control, feelings that were incapable of being overshadowed by the element of creation that which she housed. Her eyes flashed as her shoulders rolled with eager anticipation.

With a single stroke of her foreleg to the side, their spears snapped like toothpicks, and before the metal tips of their spears struck the stone ground their shields splintered in an explosive fury that was unmatched before her shadow manifested itself into a being of it's own and broke off, splitting in three separate beings that were controlled by her wil alone as they tore the group to shreds before they even had time to draw their secondary swords in their own defense. "Waste no time trying to negotiate with them, they're not here to hear our pity stories, they're here to take over the place. -Nothing else." she stated firmly as a feeling came over her. - A drawing in her chest that aroused her senses.

She had felt this before, long before the Al'a'kir had come to take the tablets. "They have one..." she stated more to herself than out loud as she turned her head to a single building in the distance. More and more soldiers poured out from the allies as a horn was blown, rallying more soldiers to the gates as began to assume defensive positions, there were words about Scorpio's and Ballista's being ordered from the armory, the grinding of stone as their wheels ran across the stone grounds.

"They have one of the tablets!" she shouted over her shoulder as the artillery pieces that had been ordered came into view as the soldiers formed a defensive line to prevent them from getting past. She glared at them and stood beside her brothers, preparing to make a run and locate the tablet herself.

The city was beginning to look like a war zone, in every corner she glanced at there was running and panicking, woman trying to get their children out of the area, soldiers trying to rush them to safety, flames lashed out at the heavens and filled it with thick black smoke as the air became thick and tainted with blood and hot embers as they danced across their eyes.

"Aspects! -You will cease your efforts at once or be destroyed!" one of the soldiers shouted, he wore a different battle-dress than the other soldiers, something in her mind pinged with the idea that he was one of their commanders, one of rank and of great importance. "Our swords may not be able to do stop you, but our Scorpios and Ballistas will! This is yoiur final chance!" the man shouted as he drew his sword with a threatening motion. Through the corner of her eyes she heard the cranking of a cog and chain, men using a torch to light a cloth that was wrapped around the shaft of a six foot long bolt on fire as the metal tip glinted under the lightening.

They had used this weapon on Flaegra, one bolt blew down a solid wall composed of solid stone, something in the back of her mind clicked and she looked to her friends. "Get hit with that thing and you're done for." she warned her friends as she prepared to move. "Really wishing Thorsoc was here right now..." she said as she waited for some kind of plan to pop up in her mind or that of the others.

Eaysachi found it funny that Vishadeas was telling them to repent, and not him. No, Eaysachi knew that these men would never dream of such things. They would fight until their last breath, just as warriors should. And Eaysachi would be there to take them to the afterlife.

Laughing, yes laughing, the great white bird said rather sarcastically to no one in particular, "Yes, you "filthy petty men"! Repent! Lay down your arms, and repent!" Knowing full well, none would or could. The fighting and the slaughter was begun already, and his voice was lost in a sea of flame and blood. The soldiers brought out their weapons, just as expected.

One particular soldier, presumably their commander, came forward and addressed the Aspects directly. Not just addressed them, he commanded; threatened. Eaysachi lifted up his beak to stare this man in his very eyes - the windows to his ignorant soul. This man did not know what he was asking for. "This is your last chance!" Eaysachi bellowed. As he did, lightning cracked nearby and the winds picked up so rapid and violent that the soldiers - and their weapons - were tossed back.

It was like a wall of force had come at them with a running start, and soldiers basically flew through the air. Straight into the fire, their weapons were set ablaze. As were many of the people caught in the winds. The wind only encouraged the fire to spread, and Eaysachi's eyes scanned the smoke for Leviathen.

Only just then had what she said fully registered in his mind; he'd been so caught up in it all and she hadn't said it loudly. He barely heard her say it. "They have one of the tablets." And he had just broke their lines, for now. He swooped down closer to Leviathen, clearing the smoke with his now several foot-long wingspan. "We must find it then." Even if they had to fight and take lives, they knew this would happen. What must be done, will be done.

Vishadeas voice was mostly drowned. A few were afraid. But none were repentant. His heart sunk as he observed the chaos, blood, and disarray.

A man called them Aspects. Knew who they were. And they had a tablet.

Chaos.

Blood.

Disarray.

The power that Vishadeas had amassed earlier now swirled around him eagerly, faster and faster. Vishadeas opened his mouth as if to yawn. Wider his mouth went until the teeth, gums, veins were all exposed.

He stepped forwards so that he was in the front of their assault, and then he vomited ice, swiveling his head so that the only angle not covered was the ones where the other aspects were.

Ice blast lvl 5 : focus x 6 + 3600 = 7200 + 3600 = 4,320 dmg
Average lvl 1 human HP: 500

Like a single slice of a pie, the area behind him stood unharmed - save for the broken down gate, the blood and guts and body parts, and the blood-splattered walls, and fragments of shattered weapons. But ahead of him, the force of his blast blew buildings. No structure taller than three feet was left standing, and those that were three feet tall were piles of building stones. Mist and dust blew upwards from the wreckage, revealing the carnage. No building left - let alone human. Shoes were several feet away from their crushed victims. Pairs of sandaled feet stood ready to fight - the rest of the shin a mass of oozing tissue and bone fragments, the rest of the body nothing but shreds of their fabric, bone fragments, and blood that dripped into the rock piles.

Vishadeas wanted to jump on his tip-toes, clap his paws together, and in a school-girl voice ask excitedly if he'd won the battle, as if it were a pokemon tournament. But he did none of those things.

He stood as silent as he'd been when he'd stopped talking.

Drip., a pool of blood spilled a drop down the rock that held it.
Drip., the flayed and refrigerated intestines indistinguishable between man and beast detached and slid down what was once a roof support.
Drip., a severed hand flopped off its string of sinew and rolled for a while.

He felt no better than before he'd done it. No.
He did feel different.
He had felt before.
Now, he didn't feel.
He felt nothing.

There was no more rush of words because there were no humans here to speak them. No clang of weapons because there was no one to hold them.

The tablet would now be located under a crushed building, in the rubble.

<!-- PVP TABLE HERE -->

The sound of war and violence rang loudly in his ears as he fought the soldiers before him. Namaclease knew that these petty humans were, for lack of a better opinion, foolish and weak and primitive minded. There was no such thing as pride, compassion, or loyalty with these creatures. There was no such thing as kindness, love, or care for those around them both being an environment. No, what Namaclease saw only represented greed, hate, wrath, lust, and pride. All that were qualities of Sin and the Dark One. Such qualities would lead to death and destruction of all and not just self. It was not something Namaclease could condone lightly. As the mighty lion king fought those that were foolish enough to take on a beast of his size, the didn't regret the violence he committed in defense of his own kin. Though the Aspects were missing one important friend to fight with them, it was apparent that they didn't focus on a weak or missing chain link, but instead focus on the reason why they were here and the victory that would come to them.

Namaclease kept close to Leviathan as she fought off the soldiers with spears. Where she was targeted from behind, Namaclease would defend her back by striking out at those seeking a cold and lowly blow from warriors that they were. There was no doubt in Namaclease's mind that these soldiers indeed were warriors at heart like he was; defending those they cared about until their last breath and fighting with no fear. Though these soldiers were misguided, they still fought with a warriors heart and this was something he admired them for, but that admiration was taken away when they sought to steal the tablets. That was something he could not forgive them for - even more now when Leviathan announced they had stolen one of the tablets. An angry roar sounded in response as he lined up with Leviathan and Eaysachi hovered above them saying they needed to find the tablet. "See if you can fly above and locate them then. When you do, send us a signal and one of us will come running." Namaclease instructed as he remained by Leviathans side while Vishadeas used his powers against the soldiers. Was there truly a need to waste such important energy like that? Namaclease scoffed silently as he focused on using his physical abilities for this match. Silent and focused he was as his claws graced the ground. His body was poised and ready for any attack that would come forth.

Namaclease was hip to hip with Leviathan as each faced opposite directions. "We will find the tablet and return it. And then we shall finish these fools so that no one else defies us. Lesser beings should not mingle with forces they do not understand." Namaclease spoke loudly to the humans and to Leviathan even as the soldiers brought in their massive weaponry. As they threatened to stand down as it was their last warning, now was the time to use his powers. Letting out a low growl, some to signal Leviathan to prepare herself, he focused on his abilities within him to shake the very earth below their feet.

Instant Cast Ability: Quake

At first, it was a slight vibration of the earth below their toes. Almost unnoticeable. Then, it increased in intensity like a large herd of horses running toward the battlefield. After a few moments, the vibrations grew with such intensity that it changed to shaking and cracking within the earth. Opening his eyes, Namaclease looked to the weapons of destruction and aimed his abilities at them. The crack of the earth twisted and turned, sucking down gobs of men in its wake. It eventually swallowed a ballista and scorpion, but the others remained standing including the nightmarish contraption that was capable of causing so much destruction. The shakeup took everyone off guard however leaving and opening for some sort of attack or running past the line.

He could hear them.

He could feel them.

Even from the mountain, where the winds howled and he felt the bowels of the world turn and grumble, he could still feel their rage, their emotions, the link that connected him to the others cried out for his participation, for him to leave the mountain and to descend down below to help his fellow comrades. He could feel their rage boiling through their veins, and as much as he tried to fight it himself, he couldn't help but share their emotions, feel their thoughts, feel his anger grow.

He was the Aspect of Earth, a divine sent here to guard the great city that lingered within the under-reaches of the world. He felt the void that surrounded him, that kept him separated from the others weakening, he felt their anger boil through the surface and cause every hair to stand on end. Even with all this fur -he felt the prick and prod of needles along his skin as he stood from his make-shift thrown, the very ground that he stood merely trembled at his wake as he made his way to the mouth of the massive cave door. Without further hesitation, without a second to reconsider his next course of action, he balled up a massive paw and slammed it into his other open palm and with a burst of light that shot from his eyes and mouth, he dematerialized into nothing but a red ball of light that sent rays of scattered shadows along every curve and every pebble along the wall yonder, before taking off into the night sky as he focused on one thing and one thing alone.

They're current location.

He knew that when they had a meeting about whether or not they were going to do anything about the Roman occupation that he had said that he would prefer to remain on Ejayah's good-side and remain neutral to the intervention between the Romans, but at the same time -the other Aspects were like blood brothers and sisters to him. He knew more than well enough he couldn't just let them down and let them fight his war for him. Because that was exactly what would happen. Their war would become his war, whether he chose to acknowledge it or not.

Like a meteor crashing to earth, his red ball rained down red embers to the surface before he came into the scene with the other Aspects, his form crashing to the earth and causing it to crack and stretch spider-webs across the stone and leave it crimson red like that of magma. His form re-materialized to that of a bear as his eyes glew red and his mouth opened, allowing the light to fade as he stood on his legs and revealed his massive size to the Romans, watching their courage drain from their faces and eyes as they all looked up at the massive bear as though they had never before seen such a massive creature in their entire lives.

"Looks like I'm late for the party..." he said as he took a moment to study the situation around him, his forelimbs engulfed in a steady glowing red hue as he looked to the soldiers that began to crowd him with spears and swords.

"Boo." he spoke in a voice that was deep and enthralling, and with the visible film of sweat that was burning their eyes, they dropped their spears to the ground and began to run before the tips of their spears even hit the ground.

Without another word he took to the side of his comrades, "I see that you wasted no time getting your message across... what will Reakhan think?" he asked the others before Leviathen made them all aware that she sensed one of the tablets near-bye.

"How did the Romans even manage to get ahold of it?" he said as he looked to the distant temple up the road - which resembled some sort of college in the arts.

"We must find it then." the white hawk declared as Thorsoc looked up to the havens to spot the magnificent bird in the air before he looked down at the others, "I don't think I could agree with you anymore." he said as he got down on all fours, his forelimbs emitting a steady red hue as his eyes glew red with eager anticipation that could be felt through a quaking earth, he turned to Vishadeas and gave a nod of approval for his display of power just as the Romans came forward with their siege weapons.

"My turn." he stated as he stood like that of a lumbering giant, standing before raging flames that threw his shadow forward and over them as he cuffed his hands together just as the hue that emitted from them began to glow like that of a phosphorus flair, his eyes flashed red as a predatory snarl surfaced from the deeps of his gut. "I'll clear you a path to get through." he declared as his mouth hung open, before raising both arms up and then down, smashing them into the stone road that he stood open.

An explosion ripped through the mass disarray as the concussion raged through the roads, sending all those standing on two legs on their backs after flying several feet back, a crack formed jettisoning flames from it's crevice as it stretched along the road and went straight for the siege weapons, flames and a cloud of steam exploded to the surface and ignited the weapons in a lotus flour of ravenous flames - anything living was cooked alive, if they were even alive at all.

"Head on up, I'll keep any stragglers out of your way." he said as his eyes flashed red, turning around to face the advancing troops, turning his back to his fellow Aspects, "For Ejayah..." he chanted more to himself than to his brothers as he broke into a run, meeting them head-on with his shoulder out, the sound of wet cracks and bones breaking filled the streets, followed by piercing screams that filled the night.

All around her, the savagery of the Aspects thrived, the chaos ensued, the pained cries of the soldiers as they cried out into the night. Her eyes sharp as they turned to eye the scene as it's happenings procured all around her. Blood filled the cracks in-between the stone labs, men dragged themselves behind for safety, body parts strewn throughout the grounds as she tried to focus on the energy that was emitted by the tablet, trying to pin-point it's location, it's essence.

Never before had she sensed such fearsome power from her comrades, never before had she seen them fight as a unit rather than for their own personal gain. It was a marvelous feeling, a feeling that made her feel more secure, a feeling that she wanted to embrace and cling to for as long as she remained an Aspect chosen by the will of Ejayah.

She knew that there would be hell to pay with Reakahn as soon as he gained light on just what it was that they were doing, she knew more than well enough that she would have to appease him in more ways than one. No matter how many times they asked them too, no matter how many times they told them too, the Romans kept on coming with arms in toe, there was no stopping them. They flooded the streets like ants from a demolished hill, ready to fight - and ready to die at the same time. There was no convincing them otherwise that surrender was their only option.

It would be settled then that there would be no changing their minds, their position in this war was irrevocable and it would forever be that way. In many ways, she pitied them, knowing that they were running with courage in their minds and fire in their hearts, only for it to be thrown away with a single swipe of her paw, a bite from her fang, and a blast from shadow-force.

It would be then that a blinding red light would fill the heavens and a force like that of an atomic bomb would rattle her senses, her ears would ring and her vision distorted as she looked up in surprise to see the lumbering giant as he re-materialized into flesh and blood before them, blocking their path and their view of the squirming ants that raged forward at them prepared to die.

"Looks like I'm late for the party." the bear declared as a grim smile formed across Leviathen's lips as she looked up at the bear, "Better late than never." she exhaled as she looked up at the massive bear aspect as he scared off an advancing unit who left their weapons behind before they even touched the ground. "I see you wasted no time getting your message across... what will Reakahn think?" The bear asked Leviathen as she closed her eyes, "This isn't about Reakahn or his feelings, they have one of the tablets." she said as she resumed trying to focus in on it's location, "I'll tear this entire city apart to retrieve it." she declared in between breaths as she glanced to her left towards what appeared to be some sort of university off in the distance, just as Thorsoc's did the same.

"My turn. thundered his voice before the entire city quaked and shook as the earth seemed to split open and shatter at the display of his strength and power, clearing a path for them to run towards the barely standing university in the distance. "Head on up, I'll keep any stragglers out of your way." he declared as Leviathen turned to gaze upon him, "Remind me to not get on your bad side." Leviathen smirked as she broke into a run to the university, a sapphire blue tracery trailing behind her as she broke into a sprint across the road, passing the burning bodies and their smoldered remains, making her way to the building that lingered in a blurry haze in the distance. Hoping that the others would follow her.

Vishadeas turned around and walked the few steps it took to exit what was once a human city. Now, it was rubbish. The other aspects would not need him, and he felt satisfied that the tablets were properly hidden, now, in the rubble of their corpses.

His heart felt sick, and in the midst of his fellow aspects, he had never felt lonelier than he did now.

When he had exited the city, he kept walking, and did not stop for some time.
